In 1988 Gong Leun Metal Industrial Company LTD., formerly Yun-Chun Foundry, moved to Min-Shiung Industrial Park, Chai-I. The semi-automatic molding method and the High Frequency Induction Furnace were introduced to our new factory at the same time. Two major types of casting, gray iron and ductile iron, are produced by us. Customized products are also available according to your specifications.
To ensure the casting quality of our products, each batch of iron casting is tested carefully and completely. The iron castings' constitution are analyzed with ARL 3460 Spectrometer and CE meter while the castings' metallographs are monitored with a Metallurgical Microscope.
In 1998, in order to serve our customers better by improving our products in quality, quantity and pricing we adopted the Disamatic 2070 MK2S Molding System from Georg Fisher Disa A/S, Denmark. Casting with this system provides a high level precision, 0.3mm tolerance, thus for each product uses less material and is easier to make final modifications such as drilling, milling and shaping, etc. This system is fully operational and produces excellent casting products.
With the existing equipment we can produce 1000 tons of casting products per month. We can also produce a single casting product using no-bake Molding System with a maximum weight of 5,500 kgs. Some of the product samples are shown on this page.
