Main products: Office furniture and Office Chairs from mesh, leather, fabric chairs, hardware mechanisms, and other associated accessories.
Company History:
1979: Engaged in the manufacture, sale and purchase of machinery parts.
1981: Expanded to include metal mechanisms in our product range, eventually emerging as one of the major Taiwan suppliers of metal mechanisms.
1986: Moved our production department to Tou Chiao Industrial Zone, set up a new plant in Kaohsiung, and created Lien Mei brand.
1989: Moved our Kaohsiung plant to Dafa Industrial Park, located in Kaohsiung county, and started to computerize our administration and operation systems.
1990: Established our corporate identification systems (CIS) and arranged high-efficiency operation lines, which are directly connected with BOM.
1991: Officially registered our name to Iou Jia Industrial Co., Ltd. and received CNS approval as a grade-A factory.
1993: Cooperated with domestic institutional organizations to develop computerized equipment, such as ERP system and AUTO CAD.
1998: Granted ISO-9002 certification, designed ergonomic OA chairs, and further developed our export markets to include the U.S., Japan, and other regions.
2002:Certified with the ISO 9001 Certification and keep making effort in developing multi-functional & advanced design products.
2004-2010 Keep attending various professional office furniture exhibition around the world from the International Furniture Fair Singapore, I.F.F.S., Malaysian International Furniture Fair, M.I.F.F., China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou), C.I.F.F., and Neocon in Chicago, U.S.A.
2010: Cooperated with major educational institutions to join the governmental project (C.I.T.D). As joining this product development project, IOU JIA's newest and multi-adjustable office chair (the Elegance series - LM5892AX model) was launched in this year. Also, in this year, the company founder, Mr. Lin, becomes the lecturer in Fooying University to share his life and work experience.
2012: Cooperated with National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) to join the C.I.T.D again. The latest developed product in Elegance series -LM5892AXS was launched. This product uses several patented parts and provides great sitting experience and design.
2014: The latest office chair product LM-5899 series was launched. The major advantage of this product is to create modular design. By adopting this concept of modular design, we use the same design concept but different components to create the variety of the chair. In the same year, IOU JIA also joined the biennial professional office furniture fair in Cologne, Germany (Orgatec)
2015: The development of product line for LM-5899 series was completed. Now, it is able to choose from all mesh model, mesh with foam, and visitor chair for total office furniture solution. Beside of CIFF in Guangzhou, China, IOU JIA also attended the professional office furniture expo Index/Workspace in Dubai, U.A.E.
