Jenn Chong Builds Name With User-Friendly Designs

Founded in 1989, Jenn Chong Plastics Machinery Works Co., Ltd. Has grown rapidly over the last decade or so to become a major producer in Taiwan's plastics machinery arena.

The company employs a workforce of 30 people at its 3,000-square-meter manufacturing facility in Chiayi County, southern Taiwan. It is certified under the ISO-9002 quality system.

Jenn Chong's major product lines are PP (polypropylene), HDPE (high-density polyethylene), and LLDPE (low linear DPE) blown film making machines; PP/PE flat yarn- making machines and woven-bag whole-plant equipment; PP, PE, PVC (polyvinyl chloride), nylon, and PET (polyethylene terephthalate) monofilament-making machines; PP multifilament-making machines; and net- extruding machines, profile extrusion-making machines, and palletizing/recycling machines.

Over the past several years, Jenn Chong has thrown its knowledge and manpower into the development of user-friendly products. The company says it has recently made breakthroughs in applying hi-tech functions on its machines to enhance their automation level.

"We use touch-screen operated microcomputer monitoring and control systems on our super- high-capacity extruders," says company president Raymond Wang. "These extruders are some of the user-friendly products we are producing to meet the growing demand for easy-operation machines."

Jenn Chong says its machines represent the most advanced level of research gained from many years of experience in extrusion manufacturing industry. Over the past few years, Jenn Chong has focused efforts in the fields of multi-filament and PVC imitation-wood products. Jenn Chong has worked with the Taiwan Plastics Industry Development Center on the research and development of PVC imitation-wood products, such as wall panels and molding. In view of the great shortage of natural wood resources, the company expects there to be a great demand for plastic imitation wood products in the near future.
