The prestigious EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair 2024 is underway from March 3 to 6 at the Koelnmesse Exhibition Center. Economic Daily News/CENS, a trusted media partner of the Taiwanese industry, is actively participating at Booth A-003 in Passage 3/11 to cater to suppliers and buyers from across the globe.

With an impressive turnout, the event organizer reported participation from over 3,200 exhibitors representing 54 countries. Cologne welcomed 38,000 trade visitors from 133 countries, making it a truly international affair. Among the exhibitors were members of the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association (THTMA), showcasing a diverse range of products including hardware tools, automotive tools, hardware parts and accessories, locks, building materials, screws, DIY products, and more. Key suppliers such as Proxene Tools Co., Ltd., A-KRAFT Tools Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Shyang Yun Tools Co., Ltd., Organizer Precision Tools Co., Ltd., Lucky-Brand Industrial Co., Ltd., and Shuter Enterprise Co., Ltd. are also present.

In an interview conducted at the exhibition hall, Lai Liang-Tzu, the Executive President of the THTMA, shared insights on the current state of Taiwan's hand tools industry. He described the industry's competitive landscape as facing challenges akin to being caught between a rock and a hard place. Despite this, the Association remains steadfast in its commitment to guiding Taiwan's tools industry towards producing boutique products, prioritizing value creation, and emphasizing quality and durability. Lai stressed the importance of adopting the blue ocean strategy, advocating for flexible technological services and diversification of production to smaller quantities. This strategic shift aims to break away from the saturated market and forge ahead. Additionally, Lai forecasted a more optimistic outlook for the overseas market in the third quarter of this year.

During the exhibition, Economic Daily News/CENS also operates a booth to offer attendees professional magazines on-site. These publications feature the latest editions of "Taiwan Hand Tools" and "Taiwan Industrial Suppliers (TIS)", meticulously curated to keep buyers informed about the exhibition's latest developments, industry trends, and selected quality suppliers in Taiwan. Moreover, CENS provides a real-time B2B matchmaking service exclusively for the trade show, allowing international buyers to quickly connect with the most suitable Taiwan suppliers.
