Efficient HID streetlights

AMC Automation Co., Ltd. is promoting an efficient 150-watt high intensity discharge (HID) streetlight, which sheds as much illumination as generic 400-watt HID streetlights onto the ground at the same height mostly thanks to a patented design.

The light's lampshade case is outfitted with a rectangular glass reflector, which effectively helps augment the amount of illumination toward the ground by directing the light in an upward direction downward to join the light in downward direction. Usually, HID streetlight manufacturers install aluminum reflectors in the lights.

The glass reflector measures 216mm by 186mm, and the lampshade case 680mm x 310mm x 230mm. The one-piece die-cast aluminum case is rated at IP65 grade, attesting to good waterproof and dust-proof quality. Streamlined outside reduces its resistance to winds. The streetlight is developed for heights above 10 meters.

AMC was founded in 1993 to make halogen lamps. It branched out into HID light manufacturing around eight years ago.
