CENS Continues Promoting Trade and Buyers' Guides in May

TAPA is a biennial international exhibition for auto parts and accessories held in Thailand, a major automotive industrial hub in Southeast Asia with 4.4 million cars rolled out in 2013, ahead of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam. The nation focuses on promoting itself as key source of auto parts Asia and has seen its efforts drive the growth of TAPA in recent years.
This year the fair was held Apr. 28 – May 1 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center, Bangkok, Thailand and brought more than 400 companies who displayed vehicles, auto parts & components, lubricants, auto tools, dies & machines as well as auto service & maintenance.
The event drew over 9,500 trade visitors from more than 60 countries such as Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, the Philippines, China, Indonesia, Japan, Australia, Iran, the Unites States, Vietnam, Singapore, and Taiwan.
The CENS booth displayed a variety of sourcing guides, with Taiwan Transportation Equipment Guide (TTG), China Transportation Equipment Guide (CTG) and Taiwan Industrial Suppliers (TIS) being the most welcome.
Architect Expo
Architect Expo is a leading trade show in Thailand, aiming to create opportunities for developers, designers, consultants, engineers, contractors etc. to meet global manufacturers and distributors in the building industry. The show also seeks to promote the usability of modern building materials and technology, aiming to improve the construction and interior decoration industry in Thailand to become the center of building materials exhibition in ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations).
This year the trade show, held Apr. 29 – May 4 at Challenger Hall Exhibition Center, Bangkok, Thailand, attracted about 600 exhibitors displaying building materials and architectural items including finishes, furniture, appliances, materials, points, glass, curtains, wall papers, lumber, flooring, wall, lighting, computer, software, CCTV, home theatre, sound equipment, sanitary ware, kitchen, swimming pool, sauna & spa, tiles, marble, granite & equipment, installation, doors, windows, fences, hardware, roofs, insulation, awnings, steel, metal, concrete materials & sealants, housing, finance, home building, design & construction services, garden & landscape, tools, equipment, etc.
CENS sent a local representative to promote various buyer guides, with Taiwan Machinery, CENS Hardware, CENS Furniture, Guidebook to Taiwan Hand Tools, and Taiwan Industrial Suppliers attracting considerable attention among visitors.
National Hardware Show
The National Hardware Show is a high-profile trade show in the United States for the global hardware industry, with a rich history of 67 years, having continually evolved through the industry's involvement, commitment and passion to improve quality of home living.
This year the show was staged May 6-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada, being organized into eight major product areas, including Hardware & Tools; Homeware; Lawn, Garden & Outdoor Living; Paint & Accessories; Plumbing & Electrical; Storage & Organization; Inventors Spotlight; and International Sourcing.
The event drew 18,000 attendees to browse numerous items provided by more than 2,600 exhibitors. New products featured at the show included:
--FANtastics, a pop-up fan that fits into a purse or pocket and is ideal for surviving hot summer.
--Light Mine Professional Hands-free Task Light, which is small enough to fit in a glove compartment and be used as a roadside repair light, a hazard light on a motorcycle, or a magnetic pickup tool for dropped screws when attached to a rope.
--GermBloc Nanotechnology Protection, a spray that protects screens on electronic devices such as phones, tablets and computers from minor scratches, fingerprints, smudges and bacteria.
--Kill-A-Watt EZ, an electricity monitor by P3 International that calculates electricity bills based on utility company's kilowatt-hour rate.
CENS sent a circulation specialist to promote its buyer guides, with CENS Hardware, Guidebook to Taiwan Hand Tools, and Taiwan Industrial Suppliers capturing ample attention among visitors and buyers.
Interpack
Interpack is an international fair for packaging machinery, packaging and confectionery machinery held in Germany. Interpack 2014, held May 8-14 at Messe Dusseldorf, showed the entire value creation chain from the production and refinement of packaging products and packaging materials right up to quality assurance and consumer protection.
The event drew approximately 2,700 exhibitors and 175,000 visitors in the 19 halls of the completely booked Dusseldorf Exhibitions Center. “We are quite satisfied with the quantity and quality of visitors at out stand,” said Friedbert Klefenz, president of the Interpack Exhibitors' Advisory Board 2014 and president of Bosch Packaging Technology. “We are pleased with the high number of leads produced, including many top executives and potential new customers.”
Boasting a percentage of foreign visitors of as much as 66%, Interpack 2014 has not only set a new record for itself, but also a top rating across all Messe Dusseldorf events, with visitors coming from 120 nations.
The dominating themes at Interpack 2014 were resource efficiency for plant and machinery as well as for packaging material usage, quality and safety to guarantee perfect and counterfeit-proof finished products.
The CENS booth caught ample attention with its buyer guides, with Taiwan Machinery and Taiwan Industrial Suppliers proving to be the most popular.
Metaltech
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Metaltech is the event for the machine tool, metalworking and manufacturing industry. This year the show, held May 21-24 at Putra World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, hosted more than 1,800 providers of metalworking and machine tool technologies from 37 countries as well as 10 national pavilions.
The machinery and tool industry is a high-performance industry sector, with companies ensuring their technological advancement through expertise and continued innovation. Metaltech featured some 3,000 technologies from nine specialized profiles that drew some 25,000 trade visitors.

Saigon International Autotech & Accessories Show
Saigon International Autotech & Accessories Show, held this year May 29 – June 1 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, drew 235 exhibitors using 350 booths to display airbags, air-conditioning, axle, batteries, bearings, body parts, brakes, bumpers, cables, clutches, cockpits, exhaust & fuel system components, fasteners, filter, frame, gasket, heating, radiator, rubber parts, sealing rings, seats, filter, folding roofs, frame, gaskets, heating, radiator, folding roofs, heating, radiator, sealing rings, seats, sensor systems, shock absorber, transmission, trims, tires, windows, etc.
