Taiwan's Machining Center Maker She Hong to Try 3C Mfg. Tools

Taipei, June 22, 2012 (CENS)--In light of the surging popularity of smartphones and tablet PCs worldwide, She Hong Industrial Co., Ltd., one of Taiwan's leading makers of machining centers, has launched new machines for 3C device manufacturing, including the Small Machining Center, Engraving Vertical Machining Center, LED Center and USC-5 Ultrasonic Spindle Machining Center.

The SMC-5 Small Machining Center is a high-speed tapping and drilling center developed independently by She Hong, which has received intense interest from 3C product makers for excellent performance and compact design. The company is optimistic about this new machine's high production flexibility and efficiency to satisfy smartphone and tablet PC manufacturers.

The EGV-10 Engraving Vertical Machine Center is specifically designed to process glass plates for smartphone and tablet PC touch panels, differing from most competing models for its double column design. Driven by double spindle heads for better stability, this machining center is priced 40-50% lower than models made in Europe but comparable in performance, and has been ordered by local touch panel makers.

The LG-1370 LED Center has a low inertial spindle motor to increase tapping efficiency, is energy-saving and ideal for processing LEDs with high brightness. The USC-5 Ultrasonic Spindle Machining Center features an ultrasonic spindle, able to finish touch panels, optical lens and various solid, fragile materials to surface roughness of 0.2μm at ultrasonic vibration frequency of 18KHz-30KHz.
