Taipei, Feb. 20, 2012 (CENS)--The Taiwan-headquartered Accuway Machinery Co., Ltd., a supplier of machining centers and lathes marketed worldwide under the own brand Accuway, has released its latest UT series CNC (computer numerically controlled) lathe UT-400.

The company introduced that the large-sized horizontal CNC lathe is built with a 2-speed gearbox to drive the spindle smoothly and quietly, with the maximum spindle power of 37kW per 30 minutes and torque output of 574 Nm and a built-in CF-axis system.

The base features integrated structure with a 45-degree angle slant for high rigidity and a hard rail with surface hardness rated up to HRC53, while the high-speed 12-station servo BMT turret coupled with a 400mm curved teeth clutch and a 710mm cutter head ensures accurate cutting geometry and helps to prolong lifespan of cutters. With higher lathing capacity than competing models, the UT-400 lathe, also able to perform milling and machining, is suitable for heavy roughing and precision machining, hence ideal for customers from aerospace, automotive, construction, energy industries.

Founded in 1986, the company has been specializing in making high-precision CNC lathes and vertical machining centers for over 25 years, well known for its consistent dedication to developing multi-axis lathing, milling and machining machines. At present, the company has built overseas footholds across North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa, aiming to squeeze into world's top-end turning machine suppliers.
