2012/02/14 | By Ben Shen

Taipei, Feb. 14, 2012 (CENS)--By consolidating marketing and production with parent company—the Japan-based Takisawa Machine Tools Co., Taiwan Takisawa Technology Co., a manufacturers of CNC (computerized numerically controlled) machine tools in Taiwan, will see sales in China double in three years.

Having planned since last year to consolidate marketing and production with parent company, Taiwan Takisawa will first launch joint-venture sales in China by the end of this year.

Takisawa of Japan holds 51% stake in Taiwan Takisawa, with both firms selling lathes under the own brand Takisawa, Taiwan Takisawa mainly selling self-developed products and also manufacturing products for the parent company on the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) basis.

In the past, Takisawa of Japan and Taiwan Takisawa always sold products independently, but will, beginning this year, jointly distribute products as a group to rapidly expand market share.

With promising economic prospects in China, Taiwan Takisawa is well positioned to sell lathes in that nation.

With sales network in eastern China, Taiwan Takisawa will in the foreseeable future aggressively penetrate western China by rapidly setting up sales points in Wuhan, Hubei province and Chongqing, Sichuan province.
