Zipper and Yarns for Textile Sector

Atics Industrial Corporation, founded in 1978, is one of Taiwan's most professional manufacturers of high-quality zippers and yarns for textile sector.

With almost three decades in history, Atics is currently capable of rolling out a full range of zippers made of various kinds of materials aimed at the world's upper marketplaces. To focus on high-end products, the ISO9001:2008-certified company employs a strict quality-control procedure in-house to make sure all products are reliable in use.

At present the company's major product lines include polyester zippers, plastic molded zippers, invisible zippers, metal zippers, sliders and components for zipper assembly, yarns and tapes.

In addition to the above-mentioned various kinds of zippers, yarns and tapes, Atics also cooperates with domestic machinery producers for producing appropriate production equipment of zippers. The company claims it also supplies spare parts for zipper machines, and raw materials for the production of zippers.

The company uses ‘TSF' brand which has been very popular in domestic market for over three decades. Liu attributes the popularity of TSF zippers to the adoption of integrated production lines in two plants, each in Taoyuan County, north Taiwan, and Changhua County, central Taiwan.

Atics is currently capable of churning out 10 million meters of zippers per month. Its production capacity can be increased in a flexible way to meet the special requirements of customers from around the world.

To get rid of the price competition, Atics has decided to develop some emerging markets as Brazil and India. Currently the company sells 75% of total output to overseas markets, mainly to Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia and Latin America. (BS)
