BSG Gear Ltd., one of Taiwan's specialized designers and manufacturers of precision gear reducers and large-sized gearboxes, is known adopting of scientific analysis to ensure optimized design of key components. The company, formerly Bi-Shine Gears Co., Ltd., imports precision production equipment from Germany and Japan to ensure high quality.

BSG Gear adopts precision gear-grinding machines to build precision gears and precision racks with ground tooth-profile.

Sparing little effort to engage in R&D of innovative products, this maker supplies gear reducers to meet customers' special requirements for high productivity.

The current product line includes high-horse-power gearboxes, gearboxes with cooling and lubricating system, and vertically installed gear reducers. And the maker can roll out 500 units of gears and 80-100 sets of gear reducers per month, most of which are exported on the OEM and ODM (original equipment/design manufacturer) basis.

The company says its gear reducers are ideal key components for plastic extrusion machinery as it adopts “ANSYS” element analysis to minimize gear-engagement impact and noise for durability. In addition, the gear reducer's shaft-seal interface is hardened, precision-ground and hard-chromed to 1000HV hardness.

To meet influx of orders, the company has expanded capacity and installed several Germany-made precision machines, which help enhance accuracy in processing gearboxes.

Besides domestic sales, the company mainly exports to China and Southeast Asia, and has recently successfully tapped the most critical Japanese market, and is confident that its sales will definitely increase in Southeast Asia, Vietnam and India due to the booming economies. (BS)
