Quasar Light Co. Ltd., an LED-lighting manufacturer headquartered in Hong Kong and operating a factory in Shenzhen of Guangdong Province, specializes in producing wide-ranging LED lights as down lights, spotlights, high-power lights, light bulbs and light tubes.

Among the company's latest LED products is an LED tube, which is 80% more energy efficient than fluorescent tubes, compatible with existing lighting fixtures, has minimum lifespan of four years, conforms to RoHS, and is flicker and glare free.

The company offers lights with average efficacy of 80-lumen-per-watt, and can be tailor made in color temperature and color rendering, achievable by a staff of specialists in lighting application, electronics, opto-mechanics, control system, and power supply.

Besides using LED packages from Lumiled, Everlight and Cree for tailor-made or standard lights, the company distributes the products with CE, RoHS, FCC, and UL approvals.

Currently using die-cast and forged aluminum housing for good thermal-dissipation, the company is considering use ceramic housing.

In addition to being equipped to test thermal dissipation, electrical leakage, voltage, light distribution, and optoelectronics performance, the company offers a three-year warranty on staple products, and a five-year warranty on special products.

Currently boasting over 2,000 customers worldwide and mainly in Western Europe, Australia, North America and China, the company exports overseas mostly as an OEM, but sells in China under its own “Quarsar” brand. (KL)
