Established by Taiwanese, Baide Metal Lighting Co., Ltd. began operation in mainland China in 1997 by producing aluminum-reflector lampshades made by advanced lathing technology.

Today, it applies the shades to its lighting fixtures including reflector down lamps, floodlight, metal halide lamps, wall wash down lights, quartz down lights, multiple lights, pendants, wall lamps, table lamps, and floodlights. This line of products are suitable for the hospitality, retail, food and beverage, office and residential sectors.

For reflector lampshade production alone, the company's output volume is 800,000 units a month.

Awarded with ISO9001, CE, CCEE and RoHS-compliant certifications, the company makes products at in-house facilities standing on a 30,000-square-meter site in Zhongshan City of Guangdong Province. The facilities are truly integrated, including machinery for lathing, pressing, polishing and vacuum anodizing.

The company is staffed with 380 well trained employees, including 10 lathing technicians with on-average seniority of eight to nine years, ensuring the company's manufacturing quality. A team of six specialists with background in fine arts, electronics and graphics is the company's research and development force.

Thanks to a marketing team of four specialists, the company's products are distributed to over 200 buyers worldwide.

OEM/ODM orders remain the company's major revenue earners; while the company's plans to roll out the "Gama" branded line in emerging markets.
