Major Exhibitors

As the region's major automotive parts and aftermarket trade platform, Automechanika Malaysia has attracted many leading brands, including Unipac Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd, Launch Tech (M) Sdn Bhd and TORCO.

Unipac Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd has participated in every Automechanika Malaysia since it first launch. Mr. David Yap Cheng Kee, Group CEO said: "This event has been a good platform to build our brand and we gained great exposure and market recognition through our participation. We will feature our latest innovative equipment and products for workshops, tire servicing and lubrication."

Being optimistic about the automotive market, he added: "Car showroom sales will slow down across Asia-Pacific in tandem with the global financial situation. However, we anticipate this will boost the after sales service activities as consumers will postpone purchasing new cars and the demand for automotive equipment will be strong. Automechanika Malaysia will be an effective platform to promote automotive equipment in this unparalleled business opportunity."

Practical Side Programmes

Running alongside the trade fair will be a series of value-added supplemental programmes for attendees to explore the latest trends and industry developments and to network and exchange information with industry experts and peers.

The "Automechanika Academy" will be an in-depth discussion and exploration of topics on automotive original equipment and aftermarket by industry professionals.

Specialized Workshops

The "CATER Workshop on Mass Customisation of Vehicles" targets the extensive customisation of vehicles, which will share state-of-the-art knowledge, results and the

outcome of the CATER project that is supported by the European Commission.

Annual Convention

The Federation of Automobile Workshop Owners' Association of Malaysia (FAWOAM) will be holding its annual convention that includes seminars and training sessions organised for its 3,000 members nationwide.
