Shin-Yain Tightens Grip on Tool Holder Market

For a quarter of a decade, Shin-Yain Industrial Co., Ltd. (SYIC) has been supplying innovative precision tool holders at its three Taiwan factories. The company has earned more than 10 patents in Taiwan and abroad, with other patents pending.

SYIC's tool holders and accessories are designed for use on lathes, milling machines, and machining centers. The company's major products include ER collets (DIN 6499), EOC collets (DIN 6388), tool holders for NT, MT, and BT (JISB 6339), DATs (DIN 69871), CATs (ANSIB 5.50), HSKs (DIN 69893), optical edge finders, three-dimensional testers, Z-axis pre-setter gauges, precision hydraulic vises, and other original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products.

In order to further enhance its product quality, the ISO-9001-approved company has steadily upgraded its manufacturing skills and developed new products. It has also installed advanced inspection and testing equipment that can assess the concentricity, surface roughness, roundness, and balance of holding tools.

The company's factories are also equipped with computerized numerically controlled (CNC) lathes, CNC cylindrical-grinding machines, CNC internal-grinding machines, automated hydraulic internal-grinding machines, automated hydraulic band saws, outer-diameter grinding machines, and horizontal and vertical milling machines.

With a workforce of 180, SYIC has produced 120 different products in around 10,000 specifications. The company also keeps a large inventory of various products to ensure prompt delivery.
